Game report
Among Us
Online multiplayer trophies block offline completion.
Reason
The game is designed around online multiplayer, and the console versions do not feature offline AI bots to complete standard matches.
- Mandatory Online Matches: The vast majority of the 25 base-game trophies (including winning matches on specific maps, winning as an Impostor, and completing crewmate tasks) must be earned in public or private online lobbies with real players.
- No AI Bot Support: Among Us does not have an offline mode with AI-controlled teammates or opponents to simulate normal gameplay.
- Limited Local Play Constraints: While the game features a local area network (LAN) mode, it still requires multiple mobile devices or consoles connected to the same network running the game simultaneously to hit minimum player counts (at least 4 players are required to start a standard game).
- Freeplay Mode Doesn’t Count Legitimately: The single-player offline “Freeplay” mode is only meant for practicing tasks on empty maps, and standard trophy progression is disabled during normal offline freeplay sessions.
