Reason

It is an always-online multiplayer title with no single-player campaign, requiring a constant internet connection and active EA server connection just to launch.

  • No Offline Modes: The game does not feature an offline mode. While you can set up Solo/Co-Op matches against AI bots to farm initial progress, these matches still run on live EA servers and require you to be online.
  • Cap on Bot Progression: You cannot unlock every trophy against AI bots alone. Progression against bots caps out at Mastery Tier 3, meaning Tier 1 Mastery trophies, such as Universal Soldier, Gun Master, and Wheeled Warrior, must be finished in live multiplayer against real human players.
  • Hazard Zone Trophies: Trophies tied to the battle-royale-style Hazard Zone mode, like Clean Exit, extract 25 times without dying, require online matchmaking with and against other real players.
  • PlayStation Plus Required: A continuous internet connection and an active PlayStation Plus subscription are mandatory to access all game modes.
