Reason

It is a single-player adventure game with zero online multiplayer, no internet connectivity checks, and zero network requirements to earn any of its trophies.

Base Platinum Breakdown

• 100% Single-Player Eligible: All 28 base-game trophies (1 Platinum, 6 Gold, 10 Silver, 11 Bronze) can be earned offline in one playthrough.
• No Missable Trophies: While the “Survivor” trophy (keep all Grumpuses alive) requires completing everyone’s side quests before the final sequence, beating the story allows you to hit “Continue” from the main menu. This puts you back right before the point of no return so you can mop up remaining tasks.
• Base Game vs. Free Update: The Isle of BIGSNAX update content adds extra trophies on a separate DLC sub-list, but none of these expansion trophies are required to unlock the base Platinum trophy.

What the Platinum Requires

• Catching 100 Bugsnax Species: Finding and capturing all 100 base species (“Got To Catch Them All”).
• Defeating Legendary Bugsnax: Completing character side quests to unlock and defeat the 4 Legendary boss encounters (“Bossy Bugs”).
• Full Transformation: Feeding every Grumpus enough Bugsnax to completely transform their bodies (“Feeding Frenzy”).
• Miscellaneous & Collectibles: Finding all video diaries (“Documentarian”), fully upgrading Gramble’s inventory space (“In The Arms of the Gramble”), and scanning the Snaxsquatch (“Candid Cryptid”).
