It is a completely offline, single-player RPG experience with zero online requirements or multiplayer modes.

  • Zero Online Trophies: All 45 base-game trophies, 1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 17 Silver, and 26 Bronze, can be unlocked locally without ever connecting to the PlayStation Network.
  • Single Playthrough Capable: You can earn every trophy in a single playthrough by reloading your save at the Point of No Return, before meeting Hanako at Embers, to view all main story endings.
  • Missable Trophies Warning: While fully playable offline, several trophies are missable. Most notably, you must choose to save Takemura during the main quest Search and Destroy to qualify for The Devil trophy.
  • Phantom Liberty Expansion: The Phantom Liberty DLC trophy list is completely optional and separate. You do not need to purchase or play the expansion to unlock the main game’s Platinum trophy.
