Reason

Destiny 2 is an always-online, multiplayer action MMO RPG. You cannot progress past the main title screen without an active internet connection, a Bungie account, and live server access.

  • Zero Offline Trophies: Every single trophy on the base list requires an active server connection to process progression and account unlocks.
  • Mandatory Multiplayer Modes: Unlocking the Platinum requires participating in online-only activities, including PvP matches in the Crucible, Show Me What You Got, high-level Nightfall Strikes, Darkness Falls, and cooperative endgame content.
  • PlayStation Plus Required: A PS Plus subscription and constant internet access are required to access the online matchmaking and fireteam activities necessary to complete the trophy list.
