Game report

Fallout 4

A single-player RPG Platinum with no online requirements.

PS5 51 base-game trophies

Reason

It is a strictly single-player action-RPG with zero online multiplayer, no forced server checks, and no network requirements to earn any of its trophies.

Base Platinum Breakdown

  • 100% Single-Player Eligible: All 51 base-game trophies (1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 15 Silver, 34 Bronze) track and unlock locally.
  • No Mods Allowed: Make sure to play the game without enabling any console mods, as active mods automatically disable trophy tracking.
  • DLC Trophies Are Optional: Expansion packs (Far Harbor, Nuka-World, Automatron, etc.) have separate trophy sub-lists, which are not required to earn the base Platinum trophy.

Crucial Platinum Strategy: Reloading Saves

Because the main story forces you to choose between mutually exclusive factions—the Minutemen, Brotherhood of Steel, Railroad, and Institute—you cannot complete all story trophies in a single straight run without manual save management:

  1. Create a Master Save: Progress the story until you reach the quest “Mankind-Redefined” (Institute) / “Mass Fusion”. Create a permanent manual save here before making any faction permanently hostile.
  2. Branch 1 (Institute): Complete the Institute’s ending for their trophies, then reload your master save.
  3. Branch 2 (Railroad / BoS): Side with the Railroad to finish their unique questline, then reload to complete the Brotherhood of Steel questline.

Notable Non-Story Trophies

  • “Benevolent Leader” (Gold): Reach 100% Happiness in a large settlement. This can be easily earned offline in a small location like Red Rocket using 2 settlers, a tier-3 clinic/restaurant, beds under a roof, and plenty of defense/food/water.
  • “They’re All Dead” / “Masshole”: Basic combat grind trophies (killing 300 creatures and 300 human enemies) that accrue naturally as you explore.
  • Collectibles: Find all 20 Vault-Tec Bobbleheads (“They’re Not Dolls”) and read 20 Magazines (“Print’s Not Dead”).
