Game report

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

A single-player RPG Platinum with no online requirements.

PS5 61 base-game trophies

Reason

It is a strictly single-player action-RPG with zero multiplayer modes, no mandatory network connectivity, and zero online server checks for tracking base-game trophy progression.

Base Platinum Breakdown

  • 100% Single-Player Eligible: All 61 base-game trophies (1 Platinum, 1 Gold, 5 Silver, 54 Bronze) are tracked and earned locally on your console.
  • No Missable Trophies: Completing the main story unlocks Chapter Select. You can freely jump back to Chapter 13 to clear any remaining side quests, minigames, or open-world region intel without losing progress.

What the Platinum Requires

While it is completely offline-friendly, unlocking the Platinum trophy demands 150+ hours of extensive completion:

  • Hard Difficulty Campaign Run: You must complete all 14 chapters on Hard difficulty (“Of Hardy Stock”), which is unlocked after beating the game once.
  • 7-Star Hotel (Johnny’s Treasure Trove): You must collect all 88 items for Johnny (“7-Star Hotel”). This requires getting top scores across virtually all minigames (Chocobo Racing, Queen’s Blood, 3D Brawler, Piano, etc.).
  • Chadley’s VR Combat Simulators: Defeating all of Chadley’s Legendary and Brutal Combat Simulation trials (“Virtually Renowned”), which serve as the game’s ultimate end-game combat test.
