Game report
Ghostwire: Tokyo
A single-player action-adventure Platinum with no online requirements.
Reason
It is a strictly single-player action-adventure game with zero online multiplayer features, zero online leaderboards, and no network connectivity requirements to earn any of its trophies.
Base Platinum Breakdown
- 100% Single-Player Eligible: All 57 base-game trophies (1 Platinum, 2 Gold, 4 Silver, 50 Bronze) are tracked and earned locally on your console.
- Zero Missable Trophies: The game warns you before a “Point of No Return” late in Chapter 4. However, completing the main story returns you right before this point with all your gear intact, allowing you to freely roam Shibuya and mop up remaining activities.
- No Difficulty Restrictions: Trophies can be earned on any difficulty setting, including Easy.
What the Platinum Requires
While it is completely offline-friendly, unlocking the Platinum trophy requires roughly 100% map completion:
- 100% Spirit Collection: The bulk of the grind is transferring 100% of the spirits in Shibuya via phone booths (“Salvation of All”). (Tip: Finish the story first to unlock the Transmission Beads, which allow you to transmit spirits instantly on the spot without running back to phone booths).
- Collectibles & Side Quests: Finding all 123 Relics (“Collector”), 52 Jizo Statues (“Pilgrim”), 31 Landmarks (“Shibuya Is My Back Yard”), 17 Voice Logs (“The Whole Truth”), and completing all 42 side missions (“Wishmaker”).
- Spider’s Thread DLC Is Optional: The free update content—such as the roguelite Spider’s Thread mode—adds a separate DLC trophy sub-list, which is not required to earn the base Platinum trophy.
