Reason

Even though the game heavily promoted its drop-in 2-player co-op, the entire base trophy list of 49 trophies contains zero mandatory online requirements. Every single trophy needed for the Platinum can be completed in single-player offline mode.

Base Platinum Breakdown

100% Single-Player Eligible: Main Case Files, Villain Side-Cases (Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, Clayface), open-world crimes, and Batcycle time trials are all fully available offline.
Switching Characters: To earn “The Batman Family”, you must play as all 4 heroes (Batgirl, Robin, Nightwing, Red Hood). This is done simply by interacting with their suits in the Belfry hub offline—no second player or server connection is needed.
New Game+ Required: Reaching the maximum character level for “He’d Be So Proud of You” requires starting a brief New Game+ run offline to raise the level cap from 30 to 40.

Optional DLC Content (Not Needed for Platinum)

Post-launch modes added via free updates—specifically Heroic Assault (4-player co-op floor raids) and Villain Showdowns—do have their own trophy sub-lists. However, these DLC lists are completely separate and are not required to earn the base Platinum trophy.
