The base-game Platinum is fully obtainable offline in local single-player Survival mode.

PS5, PS4 Base-game Platinum trophies only

Reason

Whether you are playing the native PS5 version or the PS4 version, Bedrock Edition, every single trophy required for the base-game Platinum can be earned in local single-player Survival mode.

  • Zero Online Base Trophies: All mandatory base trophies, such as mining, crafting, and defeating the Ender Dragon, are tracked locally. You do not need a Microsoft Account login, PlayStation Plus, or internet access to earn the Platinum.
  • Local Co-Op / Splitscreen Works: If you ever want help with a trophy, you can connect a second controller for offline splitscreen co-op without going online.
  • Survival Mode Required: Trophies can only be unlocked in Survival mode. Switching your world setting to Creative Mode or enabling cheats permanently disables trophy tracking for that world.
  • DLC Expansion Trophies Are Optional: DLC expansion packs, like Mini-Game expansion packs on old PS4 editions, are separate sub-lists and are not required for the main Platinum trophy.
