Reason

Overwatch, and its current version, Overwatch 2, is a purely online, live-service multiplayer game. You cannot earn any trophies offline, nor can you access any part of the game without an internet connection.

  • Always-Online Requirement: You cannot load past the main menu without logging into live Battle.net and PlayStation Network servers.
  • Strict Match-Type Restrictions: Virtually every trophy on the list specifies that it must be earned in Quick Play or Competitive Play matchmaking. None of the trophies can be unlocked in offline custom games, local play, or vs. AI modes.
  • PlayStation Plus Required: To enter Quick Play or Competitive matches to work on trophy requirements, an active PlayStation Plus subscription and constant internet connection are mandatory.
