It is a completely single-player survival horror game with zero online trophy requirements, internet checks, or multiplayer modes.

  • Zero Online Trophies: All 50 base-game trophies, 1 Platinum, 3 Gold, 6 Silver, and 40 Bronze, are tracked and unlocked locally on your system.
  • The Mercenaries Mode Is Offline: While the arcade-style bonus mode The Mercenaries includes high-score challenges, such as earning an S Rank on all stages for the trophy Legendary Cowboy, it is entirely single-player and does not require an online connection or global leaderboards.
  • Base Game vs. DLC: The base game includes multiple playthrough requirements, such as speedruns, knife-only runs, and beating the game on Village of Shadows difficulty. The post-launch expansion, Winters’ Expansion / Shadows of Rose, has its own separate trophy list and is completely optional for unlocking the main Platinum.
