Whether you are playing the original PS4 version or the PS5 Next-Gen upgrade, the game is a purely single-player RPG with zero online requirements, leaderboards, or server checks. All 53 base-game trophies can be tracked and unlocked locally on your console.

• No Online Features: The entire trophy list focuses strictly on story progression, open-world exploration, Witcher contracts, and combat challenges.
• Highest Difficulty Requirement: You must complete the game on Death March! difficulty for the trophy Walked the Path. You cannot lower the difficulty setting at any point during that playthrough without voiding the trophy.
• Watch Out for Missables: Because it is an extensive RPG, the Platinum has over 10 missable trophies. Key examples include collecting all base-game Gwent cards, Card Collector, recruiting every potential ally for the siege, Full Crew, and doing specific Witcher contracts without using signs or potions, Even Odds.
• DLC Trophies Are Optional: The expansions, Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine, have their own separate trophy sub-lists and are not required to earn the base Platinum trophy.
